World Youth Day 2013

Hundreds of thousands of young people from around the globe will join Pope Francis for the celebration in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,  July 23-28. More than 8,400 priests from all over the globe requested credentials for the event and some 5,500 journalists are expected to cover the pope's first international trip.

From the Archdiocese of Baltimore, a deacon, a young parishioner and a former Catholic Review employee will be among those attending. Tim Watkins from Renegade, also a parishioner in the archdiocese, and his team, will provide video and commentary from the international event.
