Haha. Don't intend to take sides here, but asking whether someone is "out of it" is pretty open ended, even in the context of a pharmacy visit. The pharmacist could have been inquiring about whether your husband was experiencing any side effects. (I recently took something that may cause dizziness, but that's a fair description of my usual mental state ;) Maybe your conversation made an impression on the pharmacist, and he will remember to specify the next time he wants to know if someone is out *of meds* :) (As an aside: my mother kept the same guardian angel picture in my bedroom when I was very young and the guardian angel prayer was a nightly ritual. I always loved that picture. Thanks for posting it.)
