That's great, Brian! What a funny story! We'll have to remember to keep extra shoes in the car!

A couple we used to know was selling their house in anticipation of a move to California. One day, there was a surprise showing. Their kids were about the same age as yours are now. The Mom hurriedly grabbed what she could and hustled the kids to the car - I think the dad had already moved at this point and they really needed to sell the house so they could re-unite. Their daughter (the younger of the two) was complaining, but the Mom kept cutting her off. She had no idea where they were going, but had to get this house sold. As they drove away from the house, she finally said, "OK, what is your problem." "You didn't get me any shoes!" Good luck. Keep extra shoes in the car for the kids.
