Continuing its mission to provide outreach to the economically disadvantaged, Baltimore’s Franciscan Center began a new partnership March 5 to provide assistance with water and energy bills.
The center, located at 101 W. 23rd Street, hosts the Baltimore City Community Action Partnership team twice a month to help members of the community.
The BCCAP operates five community-based CAP centers that administer the city’s energy, water and rental assistance programs and collaborate across the community to connect families to the resources they need to move toward financial stability.

The Franciscan Center is also hosting an open house for its Dignity Plates Culinary Training Academy April 4 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Members of the community are invited to meet the instructors and alumni as well as taste some of the food.
