Parishes across the Archdiocese of Baltimore will celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, with special blessings for family pets the weekend of Oct 3-4.
Most parishes are asking (human) participants to wear a mask and keep their pets on leash or inside a cage. Here’s a sampling of some of the parishes taking part:
