RADIO INTERVIEW: So you’re getting a new priest?

This is the time of the year when many parishes receive new pastors and associate pastors. On the June 27 episode of Catholic Review Radio, Father Brian Nolan speaks with Father Jim Proffitt, archdiocesan director of clergy personnel, about the process of how priests are assigned to parishes. He also speaks with Father Michael DeAscanis, outgoing pastor of St. Philip Neri in Linthicum and St. Clement I in Lansdowne, about how priests prepare for and experience a change in assignment.
