Since they were first published in 1548, St. Ignatius Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises have been helping people across the world deepen their relationship with Christ. A compilation of prayers, meditations and contemplative practices, the exercises are known for engaging the imagination and challenging believers to stretch themselves spirituality.

On the March 21 episode of “Catholic Review Radio,” George Matysek spoke with Jesuit Father Stephen Spahn, a theology professor at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, about the Spiritual Exercises and the man behind them.
