Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Agnes Rose McNally dies at 97

A funeral Mass for Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Agnes Rose McNally was offered Nov. 14 at Our Lady of Victory in Arbutus. Sister Agnes Rose died Nov. 6 in Worcester, Mass. She was 97.

Born in  Philadelphia, Sister Agnes Rose entered the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Aug. 11, 1946.  

Within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, she served on the administrative team of her religious community’s Chesapeake Province (1994-98). Working through the Julie Community Center, Sister Agnes Rose was coordinator of the Family and Community Resource Center at Tench Tilghman School in Baltimore (1999-2009). And she served on her  province’s administrative team (2010-15).

Elsewhere, she served in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
