Brother William Fealy, F.S.C., Calvert Hall economics teacher, dies at 80

An 11 a.m. funeral Mass for Christian Brother William Fealy will be offered Jan. 2 at McManus Theatre at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson. Brother William died at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson Dec. 26. He was 80.

Born in Washington, D.C., Brother William entered religious life in 1960 and professed his perpetual vows in 1967. His religious name was Brother William Glenn.

In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Brother William taught economics at Calvert Hall from 1995 to 2016. His students were well-known for their participation in the National Stock Market Challenge, according to Calvert Hall. Brother William retired in 2016, but continued living in Calvert Hall’s Brothers’ Residence and become a volunteer assistant in the Student Activities Office. 

Elsewhere, Brother William ministered in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
