Sister M. Priscilla Koblarchik, IHM, teacher, dies at 98

Sister M. Priscilla Koblarchik, a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who served as a teacher at St. Rita in Dundalk in 1982, died March 23 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton. She was 98.

Born in Clarence, Pa., Marian Julia entered the IHM Congregation on Sept. 8, 1940, and made her temporary profession of vows on Aug. 2, 1943, and her final profession of vows on Aug. 1, 1946.

She also ministered in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  

Sister Priscilla received a bachelor’s degree in English and history from Marywood College.

Funeral services were private.
