Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services honored for women’s leadership June 15, 2022By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Feature, Local News, News Baltimore-based Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Charities of Baltimore are two of 48 companies that will be honored at an event hosted by the Executive Alliance, which promotes women’s leadership in Maryland. The annual event celebrates gender diversity in Maryland’s boardrooms and showcases Maryland companies that include at least 20 percent women in their executive leadership and boards of directors. The 20/20 Honor Roll: Gender Diversity in Maryland event will be held June 21, 5-7 p.m., at DLA Piper at 6625 Smith Ave. in Mount Washington. A highlight of the evening will be a panel discussion “Women’s Perspectives: Moving from the C-Suite to the Boardroom,” moderated by Donna Hill Staton, principal of Decision Point Strategy Group. Panel participants are Mary Ann Scully, dean of Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management, and Marjorie Rodgers Cheshire, principal of A&R Development. Tickets cost $75, and attendees will receive a copy of Executive Alliance’s “Census Report: Women Board Directors in Maryland” debuting at the event.
