Christopher Gunty

Associate Publisher/CEO

A native of Hometown, Ill., Christopher Gunty has been with the Catholic Review since 2009 and oversees all operations – news, advertising and business – for Catholic Review Media. He is a producer and regular host of “Catholic Review Radio” and contributes articles and commentaries.

Chris attended college seminary at Niles College of Loyola University in Chicago and has a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago.

Gabriella Ferraro O’Brien

Senior Graphic Designer

A native of Baltimore, Gabriella Ferraro O’Brien worked for the Catholic Review in the early 2000s before rejoining the staff in 2021. As senior graphic designer, Gabriella produces page designs for the Catholic Review.

Gabriella has a bachelor’s degree from Towson University. She is a parishioner of Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland.

Priscila González de Doran

Staff correspondent

A native of Mexico, Priscila González de Doran joined Catholic Review Media as a staff writer in 2021. She serves the Catholic community writing about local events, Hispanic ministry, and translating articles from English to Spanish.

She earned associate degrees from Riverside City College in California and a certificate in campus ministry from the Dominican Institute in Oakland.

Priscila is a parishioner of Our Lady of the Fields in Millersville.

George Matysek Jr.

Managing Editor

A native of Essex, George Matysek Jr. has been with the Catholic Review since 1997. He serves as managing editor, overseeing news coverage of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. George is also a producer and host of “Catholic Review Radio,” and contributes articles and commentaries.

George has a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland and a master’s degree from UMBC. He is a parishioner of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland.

Kevin J. Parks

Visual Journalist

A Baltimore native, Kevin J. Parks has been with the Catholic Review since 2016. He takes photographs and video for Catholic Review Media and the Archdiocese of Baltimore and contributes articles.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Baltimore. He is a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales in Abingdon.

Web Editor

A Baltimore native, Gerry Jackson has been with the Catholic Review since 2022. As web editor for the Catholic Review and the Archdiocese of Baltimore, he manages CatholicReview.org and archbalt.org. He also contributes news stories.

Gerry has a bachelor’s degree from Towson University. He is a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel in Overlea.

Regina Mitsos

Business Manager

Born and raised in Baltimore, Regina Mitsos has been with the Catholic Review since 1997.

Regina, who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Baltimore, oversees the daily routine processes of the business office. She is a parishioner of St. Leo the Great in Little Italy.
