Archbishop Lori announces clergy appointments, including pastor and associate pastors

Archbishop William E. Lori announces the following appointments:

PASTOR
Rev. Stephen Fernandes, O.F.M. Cap.

To Pastor, Our Lady of the Mountains Parish, Cumberland. Effective Aug. 1, 2025.

ADMINISTRATOR
Rev. Ako Walker, C.Ss.R.

To Administrator, Holy Rosary Parish, Baltimore, while continuing as Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Highlandtown, and Interim Delegate for Hispanic Catholics. Effective July 1, 2025.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Rev. Paul Clarke, O.P.

To Associate Pastor, Ss. Philip and James University Parish, Charles Village. Effective July 1, 2025. 

Rev. Andrew Westerman, Priest of the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter
To Associate Pastor, St. Joseph Parish, Sykesville. Effective July 1, 2025.

Rev. George Asigre, Extern Priest of the Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga, Ghana
To Associate Pastor, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Ellicott City, and Howard County Health Care Ministry. Effective July 14, 2025. 

DIACONAL MINISTRY 
Deacon Kenneth Goedeke Jr.

From Diaconal Ministry, St. Joan of Arc Parish, Aberdeen, and St. Patrick Parish, Havre de Grace, to Diaconal Ministry, St. Margaret Parish, Bel Air, and St. Mary Magdalene Mission, Bel Air, while continuing ministry at The John Carroll School, Bel Air. Effective July 1, 2025.

Deacon Douglas Kendzierski
