Catholic Review welcomes new staff members

A videographer with experience serving a global Catholic ministry, a recent journalism graduate and collegiate editor, and a web professional have recently joined Catholic Review Media and the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

The three new staff members will help strengthen the digital communications and storytelling efforts of both Catholic Review Media and the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s communications department. 

Patrick McCarthy and Kelly Snyder will contribute to both outlets, while Jenna Mattern will focus on digital content for Catholic Review Media. 

Video/Digital Content Creator

Patrick McCarthy, a former videographer for Catholic Relief Services, has joined the communications department of the Archdiocese of Baltimore to serve as the first full-time videographer for the archdiocese and Catholic Review Media. McCarthy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a parishioner of St. Louis in Clarksville.

Digital Content Coordinator

Jenna Mattern, a recent graduate of Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore who served in an editing role with her college newspaper, is the new digital content coordinator for Catholic Review Media. The New Jersey native is a parishioner of Sacred Heart in Glyndon. 

Web administrator

Kelly Snyder, a graduate of Mount de Sales in Catonsville who holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, is the new web administrator for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. She also assists at the Catholic Review. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph in Fullerton.
