Funeral arrangements for Bishop Newman announced

The Archdiocese of Baltimore has announced funeral arrangements for Bishop William C. Newman, who died May 20.

A viewing will be held May 28 from 2 to 8 p.m. in Laubacher Hall at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Roland Park.  Vespers for the Dead will be offered at 7 p.m.

A viewing will also be held May 29 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland, where Bishop Newman was a former rector. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. at the cathedral.
