Presented by the Archbishop of Canterbury at a ceremony held in December at Lambeth Palace Library in London, the award recognized Deacon Bauerschmidt for his book, “The Love that is God: An Invitation to Christian Faith.” Deacon Bauerschmidt is a professor of theology at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and a deacon at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland.
