A funeral Mass for Sister Rita Woehlcke of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia, was offered Sept. 30 at St. Joseph Villa in Philadelphia. Sister Rita, formerly Sister George Ellen, died Sept. 23. She was 77.

Sister Rita entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1964 and professed her final vows in 1972.

She served as a teacher at The John Carroll School in Bel Air 1974-79. Elsewhere, she ministered in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
