Rozanski, a Baltimore native and former auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, as one of two recipients of its 29th Annual Great Preacher Award. Dominican Father Paul Whittington of St. Katharine Drexel in Chicago was the other honoree. The Aquinas Institute of Theology honors preachers who proclaim, in word and deed, the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the coming and presence of the reign of God. The Great Preacher Award was presented Nov. 9 at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac. Archbishop Rozanski was born in 1958 and grew up in the parishes of Holy Rosary in Fells Point and Sacred Heart of Mary in Graceland Park.
