St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore seeks Adopt a Family sponsors October 25, 2024By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Advent, Christmas, Feature, Local News, News, St. Vincent de Paul Baltimore, Uncategorized As the Christmas season approaches, St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is reaching out to individuals and organizations to support its Adopt a Family program that connects generous donors with families in SVDP shelters, supportive housing programs and Head Start. Families provide wish lists that detail the ages, sizes and interests of their family members. Donors have the flexibility to select the number of individuals they wish to adopt and their preferred drop-off location. Right now, SVDP is only halfway to its sponsorship goal of helping 500 local families. Interested donors may sign up on SVDP’s website. Soon after, they will receive an email from SVDP with their wish-list(s) and further instructions. All gifts should be delivered to SVDP by Dec. 8. The suggested spending range is $50-$100 per individual person on the wish-list and all items should be new. For more information, click here.
