Archbishop Lori announces appointments, including new pastor and associate pastors

Archbishop William E. Lori announced the following appointments:

OFFICIAL

PASTOR

Rev. Kevin Ewing

From Administrator, Catholic Community of South Baltimore, to Pastor, Catholic Community of South Baltimore. Effective July 1, 2024.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Rev. Stephen Wetzel, F.S.S.P.

To Associate Pastor, National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori, Baltimore. Effective July 1, 2024.

Rev. José de Jesús de Aguayo, Extern Priest of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara (Mexico)

From Associate Pastor, Pastorate of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Overlea; St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Parish, Rosedale; and Annunciation Parish, Rosedale, to Associate Pastor, Pastorate of Christ the King Parish, Glen Burnie, and St. Bernadette, Severn. Effective Sept. 1, 2024.

Rev. Hilario Avendaño, Extern Priest of the Diocese of San Vicente (El Salvador)

From Associate Pastor, St. John the Evangelist, Columbia, to Associate Pastor Pastorate of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Overlea; St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Parish, Rosedale; and Annunciation Parish, Rosedale. Effective Oct. 1, 2024.
