Archbishop Lori announces clergy appointments, including new rector for Baltimore Basilica

Archbishop William Lori announces the following appointments:

PASTOR

Rev. Monsignor Richard Woy

From Administrator, Pastorate of St. Francis de Sales, Abingdon, and Prince of Peace, Edgewood, to Pastor, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Crofton. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Jeffrey Dauses

From Pastor, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Baynesville, to Pastor, Pastorate of Immaculate Heart of Mary, Baynesville, and St. Thomas More, Baltimore. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Hector Mateus-Ariza

From Pastor, St. Clare Parish, Essex, to Pastor, Pastorate of St. Michael the Archangel, Overlea; Annunciation, Rosedale; and St. Clement Mary Hofbauer, Rosedale. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Kevin Mueller

From Pastor, Our Lady Queen of Peace, Middle River, to Pastor, Pastorate of Our Lady of Hope, Dundalk, and St. Luke, Edgemere. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Collin Poston

From Pastor, Pastorate of St. Anthony Shrine, Emmitsburg, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Thurmont, to Pastor, St. Bartholomew Parish, Manchester. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Paul Sparklin

From Pastor, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Crofton, to Pastor, St. Michael Parish (Poplar Springs), Mount Airy. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Brendan Fitzgerald

From Associate Pastor, Sacred Heart Parish, Glyndon, to Rector, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Baltimore. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. John Streifel

From Associate Pastor, Our Lady of the Fields Parish, Millersville, to Associate Director of Vocations and Catholic Chaplain, University of Maryland Baltimore County. Effective July 1, 2022.

Rev. Anthony Abiamiri

From Associate Pastor, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Ilchester, to Catholic Chaplain, Howard County Health Care Ministries, while continuing as Associate Pastor at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. Effective March 15, 2022.
