Brother Joseph Keough, F.S.C., dies at 79 April 28, 2026By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Local News, News, Obituaries A funeral Mass for De La Salle Christian Brother Joseph Keough will be offered at 2 p.m. on May 2 at Calvert Hall College High School’s Marion Burk Knott Center for the Performing Arts in Towson. The funeral will be preceded by a viewing from 12:30-2 p.m. Brother Joseph died April 24. He was 79. Born in Pennsylvania, Brother Joseph entered the novitiate in 1965, receiving his habit and religious name of David Jeffrey. He pronounced his perpetual vows in 1973. Brother Joseph taught at Calvert Hall from 1979 to 1988 and again from 2008 to 2026. Elsewhere, he had assignments in Pennsylvania and New Mexico.
