Filed Under: Amen, Amen Gunty Commentary, Commentary

No, my father wasn’t famous, but he was my dad. He passed away in 2003. And just like Kelly Conway said of her father, my siblings and I would say, “We knew he would have to leave us someday, but that day came too soon.”

I have seen the face of Christ

September 10, 2018
By Christopher Gunty
Filed Under: Amen, Amen Gunty Commentary, Commentary

Many years ago, I read an essay that pointed out that the church – whose head is Christ – must have a dual nature: like Jesus, both divine and human. Through all of this change, the message of the church remains the same: Jesus Christ – yesterday, today and forever, as St. John Paul II reminded us.
