The annual Maryland March for Life will take place March 27 in Annapolis, kicking off with registration and a pizza dinner at 4 p.m. and a youth rally at 5 p.m. at St. Mary in Annapolis.

Auxiliary Bishop Bruce A. Lewandowski, C.Ss.R., will celebrate a special 5:30 p.m. Mass in the church, while a nondenominational service will be concurrently offered in St. Mary’s Marian Hall.

Following the worship services, participants will march from St. Mary to Lawyer’s Mall outside the Statehouse.

This year’s event features Kelly Lester, a former abortion worker and now mother of six, who will give a keynote address.

Maryland March for Life began in 1979. According to its website, it is the largest, longest-standing march in Annapolis.
