Sister Sarah Ann died Nov. 19. She was 83 and in the 64th year of her religious profession. Sister Sarah Ann was born in Abilene, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Barry College (University) in Miami, a master’s degree in theology-Scripture from Union Theological Seminary in New York and a doctorate in biblical studies from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Sister Sarah Ann was a professor at St. Mary Seminary and University in Roland Park for 13 years. Elsewhere, she served in South Caronlina, Florida, Michigan and Texas.
