Sister Geraldine Kent, S.S.J., dies at 95 May 13, 2026By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Local News, News, Obituaries A funeral Mass for Sister of St. Joseph Geraldine Kent (formerly Sister Walter Annice) was offered May 11 at St. Joseph Villa in Chestnut Hill, Pa. Sister Geraldine died May 5. She was 95. Raised in Pennsylvania, Sister Geraldine entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chestnut Hill in 1948 and professed her final vows in 1956. Sister Geraldine served at Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Middle River (1957-62) and The John Carroll School in Bel Air (1986-2001). Elsewhere she ministered in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
