Sister Gloria Keltz, O.S.F., dies at 95

A funeral Mass for Franciscan Sister Gloria Keltz (formerly Sister Robert St. Joan) was offered March 6 at Assisi House in Aston, Pa. Sister Gloria died March 3. She was 95 and had been a professed member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia for 75 years.

Sister Gloria was born in Philadelphia and entered religious life in 1948. She professed her first vows in 1950. 

Sister Gloria, who held a bachelor’s degree in English from Villanova University and a master’s degree in religious education from LaSalle University, served as a teacher at St. Katharine School in Baltimore for two years. Elsewhere, she ministered in Puerto Rico, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
