Sister Hannah Ruth Smith dies at 86 April 4, 2023By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Local News, News, Obituaries A funeral Mass for Sister Hannah Ruth Smith, a member of the All Saints Sisters of the Poor for 63 years, was offered Feb. 28 at the All Saints Convent Chapel in Catonsville. Sister Hannah died Feb. 20 following a brief illness. She was 86. A Maryland native, Sister Hannah ministered to the elderly and infirmed members of her religious community in Catonsville. At St. Gabriel’s Home, she cared for children with developmental disabilities. She was also a seamstress who made religious habits and a gardener. She was known for making Nativity scenes and figurines.
