Archbishop Lori announces clergy appointments, including new pastor in Catonsville

Archbishop William E. Lori announces the following appointments:

RETIREMENT

Rev. Msgr. Joseph Luca

From Pastor, parishes of St. Louis, Clarksville, and St. Francis of Assisi, Fulton, to Retirement. Effective July 1.

Rev. Christopher Whatley

From Pastor, St. Mark, Catonsville, to Retirement. Effective July 1.

Deacon Paul Gifford

From Diaconal Ministry, St. John the Evangelist, Columbia, to Retirement. Effective March 10.

PASTOR

Rev. Santhosh Kozhippadan, O.SS.T.

To Pastor, St. Mark, Catonsville. Effective July 1.

ADMINISTRATOR

Rev. Mark Bialek

From Pastor, St. John, Westminster, to Administrator, St. Joseph, Taneytown, while continuing as Pastor of St. John, Westminster. Effective March 1.

SPECIAL MINISTRY

Rev. Thomas Dymowski, O.SS.T.

To Archbishop’s Delegate for Religious. Effective July 1.

Updated April 19, 11:55 a.m., to remove an assignment of an associate pastor that was rescinded.
