Father Alipio Flores

Alipio Flores, CSsR, is the pastoral vicar of Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Patrick Parish in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Alipio is originally from Altiplano, Bolivia. He was ordained in the Diocese of Potosí, Bolivia on Sept. 13, 2007. In the Diocese of Potosí he served as formator in the Redemptorist seminary and worked in missionary parishes in the city and in the countryside.

Hace algunos años tuve la bendición de acompañar a adolescentes y jóvenes migrantes que llegaron en caravanas a la ciudad de San Antonio, Texas. En una ocasión, conocí a un adolescente que venía desde Ecuador con un familiar, pero en el trayecto de México a los Estados Unidos los coyotes lo secuestraron para pedir una suma de dinero a cambio.
