Brother Patrick King, F.S.C., dies at 79

A funeral Mass for De La Salle Christian Brother Patrick King was offered May 17 at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. Brother Patrick died May 10. He was a few days shy of turning 80.

Born Edward Warren King in Washington, D.C., Brother Patrick entered the Christian Brothers in 1961 and professed his perpetual vows in 1968. In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, he served at Bishop Walsh School in Cumberland (1991-95 and 1997-2000). Elsewhere, he ministered in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Mexico and the Archdiocese of Washington.
