Brother William Winter, F.S.C., dies at 89 May 18, 2023By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Local News, News, Obituaries A funeral Mass for De La Salle Christian Brother William Winter will be offered at 11:45 a.m. May 21 at De La Salle Hall in Lincroft, New Jersey. Brother William died May 15. He was 89. Born in Pittsburgh, Brother William entered the Christian Brothers in 1952, pronouncing perpetual vows in 1959. He served in the Archdiocese of Baltimore at the Christian Brothers Spiritual Center in Adamstown (1993-98). Elsewhere, he was stationed in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, New Mexico and the Archdiocese of Washington.
