High school students invited to participate in human trafficking video contest February 13, 2025By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Feature, Local News, News, Schools High school students across the United States are invited to participate in a contest to create short videos outlining what they would do to help prevent human trafficking. Sponsored by the Alliance to End Human Trafficking, an outreach of U.S. Catholic religious sisters, the contest includes monetary prizes of $1,000 for first place, $750 for second and $500 for third. The videos will highlight potential human trafficking scenarios chosen by students, with the goal of raising awareness, education and empowering students and others on how to identify and prevent human trafficking. The videos may be created by individuals, groups or classes and must be under three minutes. The deadline for submissions is March 30.
