She was 96 and had served as an Oblate sister for more than 70 years. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, she entered the Oblate Sisters of Providence Sept. 14, 1951. Among her assignments, Sister Lucia was a prefect at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore and worked with children at Mount Providence Child Development Center in Baltimore.
