Sister Patricia Cherry, O.P., dies at 90 October 15, 2021By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Local News, News, Obituaries A funeral Mass for Dominican Sister Patricia “Pat” Cherry was offered Oct. 9 at the motherhouse of the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa in Wisconsin. Sister Pat died Sept. 30. She was 90. Sister Pat, a New York native, made her first religious profession as a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa Aug. 5, 1953, and her perpetual profession Aug. 5, 1957. In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Sister Pat taught at St. Rose of Lima School in Brooklyn from 1960 to 1968. She also served in Washington, D.C., and several other states.
