Sister Vincentia Dorsey, I.H.M., dies at 87 February 9, 2023By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Feature, Local News, News, Obituaries A funeral Mass for Sister Vincentia Dorsey, a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, will be offered Feb. 13 at her religious community’s chapel in Scranton, Pa. Sister Vincentia died Feb. 7.She was 87. Born in New York, Sister Vincentia entered the IHM Congregation in 1954, made temporary profession of vows in 1957 and final profession of vows in 1960. She earned a bachelor in education from Marywood University in Scranton and a master’s degree in sociology from New York University. She was a teacher and principal of St. Bernardine School in Baltimore, 1967-70.
