Where to get your pet blessed this weekend in the Archdiocese of Baltimore

Parishes across the Archdiocese of Baltimore will celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, with special blessings for family pets the weekend of Oct 3-4.

Most parishes are asking (human) participants to wear a mask and keep their pets on leash or inside a cage. Here’s a sampling of some of the parishes taking part:

Cathedral of Mary Our Queen: 12:30 p.m. Oct. 4 on the front lawn

St. Alphonsus Rodriquez, Woodstock: 11 a.m. Oct. 3

St. Andrew by the Bay, Annapolis: 2 p.m. Oct. 4 in the garden

St. Ann, Hagerstown: 1 p.m. Oct. 4

Church of the Annunciation, Rosedale: 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at the main entrance

St.  Bernadette, Severn: 11 a.m. Oct. 4 in the prayer garden outside the parish house

St. Casimir, Canton: noon Oct. 3 in front of the church

Catholic Community of Ascension and St. Augustine: 1:30 p.m. Oct. 4 in the St. Augustine parking lot in Elkridge

Catholic Community of South Baltimore: 10 a.m. Oct. 3 in Riverside Park and 11 a.m. Oct. 3 in Latrobe Park

St. Charles Borromeo, Pikesville: 12:30 p.m. Oct. 4 in the Mary Garden between the church and the rectory.

Christ the King Catholic Church, Glen Burnie: 10:30 a.m. Oct. 3 in the church parking lot

St. Clement Mary Hofbauer, Rosedale: 2 p.m. Oct. 4

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Crofton: 11 a.m. Oct. 3 in front of the church

St. Francis de Sales, Abingdon: 10 a.m. Oct. 3 outside the church

St. Francis of Assisi, Baltimore: 10 a.m. Oct. 3 behind the rectory on the sidewalk

St. Francis of Assisi, Fulton: 2 p.m. Oct. 4

Church of the Immaculate Conception, Towson: 1 p.m. Oct. 3 on the lawn in front of the rectory

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Baynesville: 2 p.m. Oct. 4

St. Isaac Jogues, Carney: noon Oct. 4

St. John the Evangelist, Long Green Valley: 1:30 p.m. Oct. 4

St. John the Evangelist, Severna Park: 1 p.m. Oct. 4

St. Joseph, Cockeysville: 1:30 p.m. Oct. 4

St. Joseph, Odenton: 1 p.m. Sunday

St. Katharine Drexel Frederick: 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at front entrance of the church

Our Lady of Fatima, Baltimore: 1 p.m. Oct. 4

Our Lady of the Fields, Millersville: 1 p.m. Oct. 4 in the pavilion
