Lori will celebrate the following Holy Week liturgies at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland – Palm Sunday, 11 a.m.; Chrism Mass, Monday, 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, 7:30 p.m., Mass of the Lord’s Supper; Friday, 3 p.m., Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion; Easter Sunday, 11 a.m. How can I find liturgies to attend? Visit https://www.archbalt.org/parishes/directory-of-parishes to find a convenient parish and check individual websites for Holy Week and Easter listings. Now that many of the pandemic restrictions have been lifted, what COVID precautions are most churches taking? Archdiocese of Baltimore parishes follow local guidelines for masking and capacity restrictions. There are currently no restrictions for jurisdictions and no mask mandates, although parishes continue to follow safe cleaning protocols. Parishioners should continue to wear masks if they feel more comfortable doing so. Will liturgies still be livestreamed for those who still don’t feel comfortable attending or unable to attend in person? Many parishes now routinely livestream at least one Mass a weekend. Check individual parish websites for livestream listings and links or visit www.archbalt.org/online-mass. Can I watch Mass on television? Archbishop Lori will celebrate 11 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. EWTN, available on most cable systems and on livestream, will broadcast the following liturgies: April 10, 4-6 a.m. “Solemn Mass of Palm Sunday.” Live broadcast from Rome as Pope Francis celebrates the eucharistic liturgy for Palm Sunday. April 10, noon-1:30 p.m. “Mass for Palm Sunday.” Broadcast live from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. April 14, 3:30-5 a.m. “Chrism Mass in Rome with Pope Francis.” Annual liturgy at which the oils used in the celebration of the sacraments are blessed. April 14, noon-1:30 p.m. “Solemn Mass of the Lord’s Supper from Rome.” Pope Francis celebrates this Holy Thursday liturgy commemorating the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood. April 15, noon-1:15 p.m. “Celebration of the Lord’s Passion.” Pope Francis presides at this liturgy for Good Friday. April 15, 6:30-7:45 p.m. “Way of the Cross.” For the first time in two years, this devotion will be held at its traditional site, Rome’s Colosseum, in the presence of Pope Francis.
