While the 48th annual National March for Life in Washington, D.C., Jan. 29 became a virtual event because of the coronavirus pandemic and the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6, the Maryland March for Life continues to plan for a modified gathering Feb. 4 in Annapolis. Forgoing the traditional Mass at St. Mary’s and youth rally, organizers ask supporters to gather on the sidewalks outside the Miller Senate Building from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a demonstration in support of the sanctity of life. Catherine Glenn Foster, president and CEO of Americans United for Life, America’s original national pro-life organization, will be the keynote speaker.
