A funeral Mass for Bon Secours Sister Kathleen Moroney will be offered June 26 at the Sisters of Bon Secours Chapel at the Bon Secours Retreat and Conference Center in Marriottsville.

A funeral Mass for Sister M. Mercille Schneider of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was offered June 10 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Dunmore, Pa. Sister Mercille died June 3. She was 96.

Father Thaddeus Burch, a Baltimore native and physics professor at Marquette University, died May 14. He was 93.

A funeral Mass will be offered June 13 in Arbutus for Oblate Sister of Providence Veronica de Los Santos, who died May 17. She was 89 and had been a member of the Oblate Sisters of Providence for 64 years.

A funeral Mass was held May 1 for Brother James P. Eckert, who died April 27 of cancer of the esophagus. Brother James, who also went by Brother Campion, taught for more than 20 years and ministered to the impoverished in Western Maryland.
