New board members include:

  • Phyllis Oddoye Bull is a board-certified clinical oncology pharmacist and is director of clinical oncology pharmacy services with LifeBridge Health. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy
  • Jack Cavanaugh is a partner and senior advisor at Brown Advisory and works with a variety of private clients, family offices and institutions. He has previously served on the Catholic Charities Investment Committee and has been a member of the Audit Committee since 2011. He is a graduate of Duke University and earned his MBA at Columbia University.
  • Michael R. Smith is executive vice president and chief financial officer of McCormick & Company, Inc. He served two terms on the Catholic Charities Board of Trustees from 2015 – 2022. Smith graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA degree in accountancy.
  • Dawn White is the vice president of gas distribution at BGE. She holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware as well as an MBA from Loyola University of Maryland.

“Our new board members are such an impressive group and will surely have an impact on the continued success of Catholic Charities,” Board President Dan Rizzo said. “We are so grateful that they have united with us in support of the Agency’s work and mission. The future is bright.”
