Haiku for me, haiku for you

In honor of National Poetry Month, I am highlighting seven moments from the week in haiku.

~1~

Need an eggless treat?
Check out these egg-shaped candies.
Hello, irony.

~2~

Peeps and spaghetti
Make for a challenging game.
Sad to say I lost.

~3~

When I bake cupcakes
I use two different frostings.
Then everyone’s pleased.

~4~

Happy birthday, niece!
How is she already six?
We love her so much.

~5~

My sister knows me.
When Treasa needs egg cartons
She asks me for help.

~6~

Do you make stir fry?
Garlic and onions are key,
But aren’t they always?

~7~

A book calls my name!
Sometimes I simply can’t wait.
This is my next read.
