The Sister of St. Francis of Philadelphia served for 11 years as assistant director of nursing services at St. Joseph Hospital.

A funeral Mass was offered May 22 at Villa Assumpta in Baltimore for School Sister of Notre Dame Marie Michelle Walsh. A vowed member of the School Sisters for 71 years who spent nearly four decades as a professor and administrator at what is now Notre Dame of Maryland University, she died May 18, at age 92.

A funeral Mass was offered May 4 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg for Sister Jane Marie Otterson, D.C., who gave 71 years to her vocation as a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Sister Jane Marie died April 29, at age 93.

A funeral Mass was offered May 4 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg for Sister Sheila O’Friel, a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul for 65 years.
