“28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” (Sony) is the fourth installment in a splatter-stained franchise centered on zombies that reaches back to 2002. Not only does the film maintain its predecessors’ tradition of bloodletting, it also features a devil worshipping theme and abundant instances of gratuitous nudity.

As its title suggests, the survival drama “Greenland 2: Migration” (Lionsgate) sets the three main characters featured in its 2020 predecessor on another journey. Unfortunately, their odyssey through ruined cities and a war zone is far less interesting than their earlier expedition and eventually turns into a dull slog for viewers.

In the opening sequence of the horror film “Primate” (Paramount), a minor character has one of his eyes gouged out and his entire face ripped off his skull. That moment, unfortunately, typifies the excessive gore that mars this otherwise taut and cleverly tense chiller, preventing endorsement of it for any age group.

Considered from an artistic point of view, “Marty Supreme” (A24), a loosely fact-based mix of drama and comedy, is an undeniably accomplished film. Approached from a moral standpoint, however, its narrative turns out to be both unsettling and, ultimately, unacceptable.
