A funeral Mass will be offered July 31 at Assisi House in Aston, Pa., for Sister Anna Hope Bauerlin, a professed member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia for 70 years.

A funeral Mass was offered June 22 for Little Sister of the Poor Joseph of St. Margaret Mary Grenon at St. Martin’s Home for the Aged in Catonsville, where Sister Joseph served for nearly 14 years, at St. Martin’s. She died June 17 at 76.

Father John C. Moore, founding pastor of Holy Family Catholic Community in Middletown, died June 24 in Adamstown. He was 83.

Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Catherine Phelps died unexpectedly June 15. A Baltimore native, she served as head of Trinity School for 47 years, twice leading it National Blue Ribbon recognition.

Sister Mary Lambert served the Archdiocese of Baltimore from 1988 to 2017,

Sister Helen served as the coordinator of religious education for the Archdiocese of Baltimore 1986-89.

Sister Angela Miller, a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary who served six years in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, is believed to have died in an April 28 fire set at her home in Scranton, Pa., by her nephew, Alan Smith.

During her 55 years in religious life, Sister Clara served in the Archdiocese of Baltimore at St. Dominic School in Baltimore (1969-81); Mother Seton School in Emmitsburg (1981-5, 1989-90); and in prayer ministry at Villa St. Michael in Emmitsburg since February.

Sister Maria Voorneveld, I.H.M., died March 27 at 95. She taught at St. Bernadine Elementary School in Baltimore (1948-55) and was a member of the support staff at Mother Seton Academy in Baltimore (1995-2006).

Sister Elizabeth Doyle, former principal and teacher at Immaculate Conception School in Towson and teacher at St. Anthony in Baltimore, died April 3. She was 98.
