Sister Patricia Ann Warnick, longtime teacher, dies at 83 October 14, 2021By Catholic Review Staff Catholic Review Filed Under: Local News, News, Obituaries School Sister of Notre Dame Patricia Ann Warnick, an educator at several Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, died Jan. 13. She was 83. Sister Patricia started elementary school at the Shrine of the Little Flower, before completing her education at the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore, where she graduated in 1955. She initially studied at the University of Maryland at College Park to become a physical therapist, but transferred to what is now Notre Dame University of Maryland in Baltimore. It was there that her religious vocation was awakened. with the goal of pursuing a religious vocation. She entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame Sept. 7, 1957, receiving the candidate’s veil in the chapel of Notre Dame College. She completed her junior year of studies during the candidature. Sister Patricia was received as Sister Carol Mary July 12, 1958. She professed her first vows on July 25, 1959. While a junior sister, Sister Carol Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in education In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Sister Patricia taught at St. Mark, Catonsville; St. Ann, Baltimore; St. Ambrose, Baltimore; and Mother Seton Academy, Baltimore.
