Funeral Masses will be offered Sept. 11 and 14 for Conventual Franciscan Father Joseph Benicewicz, a Baltimore native and former president of Archbishop Curley High School In Baltimore. Father Benicewicz died unexpectedly Sept. 6 in Kensington, Conn. The 1978 graduate of Archbishop Curley was 64.

A funeral Mass will be offered  Sept. 11 for Sister of St. Francis of Philadelphia Corda Marie Bergbauer, a former teacher at St. Stephen School in Bradshaw and The Catholic High School of Baltimore. The former superior general of the Sisters of St. Francis died Sept. 5 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

A funeral Mass for Sister of Mercy Mary Ellen Brodie (formerly known as Sister Martin Marie) was offered Sept. 4 at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Baynesville. Sister Mary Ellen died Aug. 25. She was 91 and had been a Sister of Mercy for 72 years.
