The saint is not. But who was this elusive figure? With the Feast of St. George coming up April 23, George Matysek talks with Hanael Bianchi, a professor of history at Howard Community College, who holds a doctorate in British history from The Catholic University of America. Bianchi is the author of “St. George’s Day: A Cultural History of England’s National Holiday.” He is a parishioner of St. John in Westminster, and also blogs for the Catholic Review.
