We traveled earlier in the week, and I came back to feeling completely unprepared for the school year that starts on Monday.

The stars aligned just right, and the morning of move-in, we waved goodbye to the farewell committee and headed north.

Ten years ago today, my husband and I met our younger son for the first time.

I love that the members of my prayer group don’t really offer advice. They simply listen and support and share.

As evening arrives, that last burst of light can be so vibrant.

Our friends have been out of town this week, and they offered to let us use their pool while they were on vacation.

God is with us through the storm and through the changes in plans. He knows we have what we need to face the challenges ahead.

Family…happy kids…warm chocolate chip cookies. Life doesn’t get much better than that.

Children grow fast. Time slips by faster every year. And pandemic time seems to be its own mystery.
