Children grow fast. Time slips by faster every year. And pandemic time seems to be its own mystery.

What a full week!

I love miracles.

God looks at his children on Earth and knows precisely what we need. He sees who needs a little more rest, a little extra sunshine or a new opportunity – and he provides.

When I saw we had four bananas that were nearing the end of their time, I decided to make banana bread—and then actually followed through.

“If I walk through that door, and I don’t have Berger Cookies, I don’t know what will happen,” I joked.

We’ve been making slushies at home, learning golf, and enjoying other summer fun.

When this pandemic is just a memory let’s keep some of the best aspects like the the virtual children’s piano recitals.

I love looking at the pancakes to see what form they’ve taken on, sort of like clouds in the sky.

The problem with vacations, I suppose, is that they end. But that’s part of the joy of vacations, too—that the time is limited and special.
